Hey guys, today I want to talk about something more serious and somewhat more personal.
In recent events in the wake of the Santa Barbara shooting the reasons for the killer’s intent were shown even hours before he’d began the shooting. One of the few reasons was because he was often rejected by females. Instead of blaming himself, he often referred to the women and ‘douchebags’ (my word) for why he’d never got a girlfriend. He often referred to himself as being a nice guy and the people in comments section of his video actually sympathized with him and that’s what angered me the most. ‘See ladies, this is what happens when you friendzone nice guys’ and other such comments ensued. But yet, these ‘nice guys’ don’t blame him for what he did, they feel bad for him. And that’s what I want to talk about, if you think you’re a nice guy you’re probably not a nice guy. And honestly, we blame the victims for being victimized and yet we don’t blame the gun nor the killer. This is, to me, the epitome of American society.
